Industrial Boilers

Today’s industrial boilers come in many shapes and sizes.  Whether water-tube or fire-tube, boilers provide the steam necessary for power, heating, and other processes.  Nitrogen oxides (NOx) are an undesired byproduct of boiler combustion.  SCR systems for industrial boilers are the proven solution for reaching the highest possible NOx reduction.

Umicore’s DNX^® catalyst is specifically designed for high DeNOx performance in boiler applications.  The trimodal pore structure of the catalyst provides the highest available activity in addition to excellent resistance to poisons from tube leaks.  SCR systems for boilers are generally smaller in size and catalyst can be supplied quickly off-the-shelf for emergency needs.
